If you’re looking for a fun series to rewatch over the next couple of months, you cannot go too far wrong with How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM).
The hijinks of Ted Mosby and co. are always worth a second viewing, and the short nature of the episodes makes them easy to keep an eye on while you’re doing other things.
But where can you watch How I Met Your Mother on the web? As always, it depends on the level of legality that you’re looking for.

Hulu basic only costs $6 per month (or $60 is you pay annually). That represents excellent value for money given the amount of content available. However, you can also upgrade your plan to $12/month to remove ads or $55 month if you want to include live TV.
2. Netflix
UK users, on the other hand, can watch How I Met Your Mother on Netflix (remember, Hulu is not available in the UK without a VPN).
If you live in the UK, you can get a Netflix subscription for £9 if you only want the most basic package. Adding more screens and 4K video will bump up the price.
3. Fandango NOW
Fandango NOW is a digital pay-per-view service. Instead of paying a monthly or annual subscription, you rent the shows you want to watch.
At the time of writing, all nine seasons of HIMYM are available on the platform.
4. Apple TV
HIMYM is also available on Apple TV. Like on Fandango NOW, you will need to pay a one-off fee to be able to watch.

As you can appreciate, the owners of such services don’t publicize them heavily. Reddit is always a good place to start, and you can often find such providers scouting for business on Twitter, too.
7. Kodi
Finally, there is always trusty Kodi. The app might have been left in the dust by Plex in regards to fancy features in recent years, but it’s still a favorite among streamers thanks to its vast number of third-party repos.
Many of those repos provide access to TV series, with HIMYM being one of them. To learn more about Kodi, look at our list of the best Kodi add-ons for live TV and more.
